Today I went to Correos to send a faulty mobile back to China. Apparently Correos will not accept mobile phones to be sent to China as “it is a security risk”. They told me even if I put a different description on the customs form that all items sent to China are x-rayed before despatch and that the mobile would end up being returned to me.

I have looked at the Correos website at the prohibited items and no where does it mention mobile phones.

Does anyone know if the info I have been given is correct. Thanks
