Hi All, I have just had a call from Sally, and She has asked me to update everyone one here as She can't get on the net.
Where to start?!:unsure:
Firstly, MIL is doing ok and has an appointment booked for next week, all seems ok so far.
House purchase has gone a bit pear shaped as they appear to have been gazzumped (sp?) last week and will not know the actual outcome until monday, but does not look promising. Evidently the vendor is not a nice chap!
Urgently now looking for a different rental property as the present one leaves a lot to be desired (!) as well.
Sally sounded like She was in good spirits, just rather stressed at the moment, but they are determined to carry on with plans even if they end up renting for a year.
I'll try to keep you posted whenever she calls!

Thanks for the update Tim. Such a shame that they are encountering problems here, you would think that they had more than their fair share of difficulties without more re their housing in Spain. Hope they get sorted out fast so that they can relax a little.

When you speak to her again I would be grateful if you could give her my regards.

As Rosemary said, it's such a shame to hear that they're having yet more difficulties - as they really have had a bucket load to deal with these past few months :(

Hopefully, as Shergar's experiences have shown, things can only get better in terms of the "Spanish adventure."

It's good to know that MIL is doing reasonably well too :thumbup:
Hope all goes well with her appointment.

Coming from the West Country ourselves we feel somehow related (in a certain manner of speaking) and Shergar and myself certain wish her all the very best and hope she too will overcome her difficulties.
We have been following her story from afar and hope she too will now be in for some good luck.

Thinking of her and keeping fingers crossed. Good Luck
