On the front of the player there should be a little hole, straighten a paperclip and push into the hole this will eject the disc. naughty naughty

why would it matter what disk it was ?
if a disk is stuck then a disk is stuck, doesn´t matter if its genuine or not

As an added bonus, on any apple model (as not all laptops have the magic hole),if you switch on whilst holding down the eject key it should open the cd tray.

I completely agree about the macs and has you say not all have the magic hole. I have the latest iMac G5 intel pentium - but no magic hole.
You can also restart whilst holding down the 'E' key, release once it has restartd and the disc should eject.
