Communications Costa Blanca

Buying an apartment in Altea which I intend to use twice a year for up to eight weeks at a time. Can anyone point me in the direction of telephone and internet service that can be suspended during periods not required.

There are companies which offer short term/holiday phone and adsl lines, eg Linea Vacaciones from movistar. The probloem is that these are tied to having a regular service with that company in your main home. Given that some phone companies operate in various EU countries, you'd think this might be something they could offer but they don't seem to.

The only thing I can find which refers specifically to foreign tourists is this https://wifiaway.es which I think has come up on this forum before so maybe someone here will have experience of it.

For two times eight weeks, a mobile phone and mobile data card in a Wifi dongle might suffice?
