Xtreme - .I think he was banned before you joined Fiona.

He was good fun. He certainly said his piece. Like Matty says - ENDLESS bike pics........... there are some things that aren`t missed.

I cannot comment on Big Pete - I can`t recall him.

Yeah, Big Pete no, Xtreme yes..... I mean they are both a little strange, but at least with Xtreme you know what you are getting, and there is no racism..... which is always a good thing on an Expat site!

So Fiona's naive question of the day is this: Exactly what do you have to do to be banned on BE? Yes I can read the site rules, but is it repeatedly ignoring warnings? & what's repeatedly? A particularly vile set of posts? Or could it be any manner of things? And can they be un-banned?

I miss a lot of people on here now - and none of them were banned - Eve, Miss Naughty, Brisca, Gallerie 9, MnM, SarahChiles and those are just a few who have passed through here and dont really see much of now :(

We can issue temporary bans or permanent bans. It depends how serious the "offence" is, and if the poster ignores warnings.

Posters can be unbanned, but there would have to be an incredibly good reason.

Apart from spammers though, very few people have been banned in the Spanish forums, I can only remember a couple. One of those two imho should have had a temporary ban only, but the other was being very persistent and ignored warnings over a long period of time.

I banned a few including the two you may be referring to.
I banned Big Pete and four or five or more of his alto egos for his rascist remarks and not heeding warnings, so got a permanent ban. When he first started he was fine though.
Extreme was a laugh, but mainly used the site to advertise. His last few posts and the video he posted were well out of order and it was a permanent ban also. He would really of upset many of the demure posters on here now.
All in all I am sorry they both turned the way they did as I quite liked their humour, I am a man of the world, but I could not just stand by and see them wreck a good forum acting the way they were, so if anyone wants to moan about it then direct it my way. :thumbup::thumbup:

Yeah ... you banned them and I got the sh!te. Even now BP tells people I had it in for him, and it wasnt even me!

And the re visits lasted about 4 or 5 nights, iirc we had about 4 mods on it banning new names
