Coast from Motril up to Almeria

Hi All,

Early stages of planning my next trip to look at areas for a potential purchase. I've covered the Costa Brava pretty much and Alicante a few times and for the last 2 years have visited Granada/Almunecar/Malaga/Lanjaron. They are all great areas with pluses and minuses. I like Andalucia but don't really fancy the area south of Malaga as it seems to be quite commercialised with a higher proportion of non Spanish residents.

I am now thinking of returning to the Costa Tropical but looking more closely at the area from Almeria to Motril. Any advise on the best places to visit? Looking at the map the Sierra Nevada mountains are still close by and Granada is still with a 90min drive.
