Christmas Tree Lights in Spain
Hi all
I know this might sound like a stupid question, but we are in the process of packing all our worldly goods in preparation for our move to Spain and have discovered that we have absolutely loads of Christmas decorations and lights. Can anyone tell me whether it is worth taking the tree lights/fibre optic ornaments with us, i.e. would they work/be safe in Spain or should I just leave them all behind? Sorry to ask such a silly question, but I really don't know what to do! |
Re: Christmas Tree Lights in Spain
I'd leave them behind. Places like Casa and Bricoman sell them really cheaply.

cheap as chips!!! ;) |
Re: Christmas Tree Lights in Spain
Technically, there's no reason not to bring them. They'll work just fine with a plug change. The Spanish supply voltage is a little lower than Britain, which will actually increase the life of the bulbs slightly.
