not too much happens I'm afraid.

a couple of years ago there was a craft fair and ice rink. but as every where cuts been made. Not even as many Christmas lights as we used to have here.

There are events in Portugal but I know this won't help you.

Hi Sue, I was just wondering if they had stalls in the square selling things for the belen scenes etc. Sevilla had a big one and wondered if Ayamonte had a little one :-) I love looking round them and maybe finding some nice little peices that take my fancy. I may have visitors and/or can take a taxi of the ferry if I fancy any of them.

Val could take the ferry to VRSTo where there is usually an enormous Christmas tree in the square and a market around it but not like a German Christmas market.

There will be a Christmas market in Ayamonte with various attractions. They are just sorting out the last few details and I expect the chamber of Commerce and Ayamonte Town hall to make a public announcement soon.

Lots of events for the festive season, and Captains Wench looks like there are some free churros as well and your crafts market in Paseo Ribera.
