Hello Derek & Jane,

Sorry, there used to be a lovely video of the beaches from Cádiz to Tarifa but it disappeared some years ago. Most of the videos don’t give a “feel” to the area, just pictures of churches and squares etc.

The Levante from the east and Poniente from the west are the two prevalent winds; usually with a touch of south in them they can be strong at times, say six lots of either wind a year and lasting 3 to 6 days as an average. The last Levante was strong and a couple of trees were blown down, but people are very aware of them so they don’t tend to damage much.
