Hi,

Those who holiday in Spain or elsewhere may be interested in an app for your iPhone / Android mobile giving international calls @ only 1p per minute. PM me for the link.

... if you have internet on your phone either through contract or WiFi, then there are a number of good VoIP services which (for me ) provide free international calls.

And Orange Mundo PAYG is 0.01 a minute to the UK.

Because there's no point as there are so many of them. Skype on a mobile (in our experience, and others) is of poor quality so we choose to use other services.

This is not a VoIP service, it is an app for iPhone / android phones to provide cheap International calls from UK mobile phones.

You could always use something like Sipgate

Get a free UK phone number. Buy a Voip Phone and set it up in your Spanish residence. Calls to your UK number ring at your house in Spain. Cost: 0.

We use VoIP cheap after recommendations from other forum members.

We loaded the account with 10€ but have not yet spent one cent on calls to anywhere. We've made several calls to UK and to Australia - all have cost us nothing.

Anything that doesn't make a call using the phone service of your SIM provider is VOIP.

Like I said it is not VoIP http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voice_over_IP . The app gives cheap calls at 1P/per minute using your existing UK mobile SIM card i.e. PSTN.
