Changing sterling cash in spain.
Hi all,
Im travelling over to Spain tomorrow and next week I will need to have a significant amount of cash in Euros available (about EUR3000). Im having a hard time organising that in the UK on short notice as all the places I've asked require it to be pre-ordered.
If I bought it out cash in sterling would there be a way to change that amount into Euros in Spain without getting raped on the exchange rate?
Any advice appreciated, as always

If you had thought ahead (even one day ahead) you could have ordered from ICE and they would have deed the next day. However it looks like you will have to take the cash with you and change it over there. Avoid the airports like a plague and ask around but you will get ripped off.

Actually, I've just realized that my bank does international bank transfers over Internet banking now (SWIFT) so that solves my problem hehe

You could have used Travelex as well
