Change of Passport and NIE

Change of Passport and NIE
If I got my NIE with my British passport and want to get an Irish passport will that effect my NIE or will I have to get a knew one. Also signing on the Padron, should I wait until I get my Irish passport.

You should already be signed on Padron, Cant see why new/different passport should affect either padron or NEI.

NIE number is for life. Passport changes irrelevant.
