Change an address when resident in Spain??
Dear All,
My husband and son are British citizens and have resident certificates. I am Chinese and applied this in Mar. I checked online and the application is approved. Can anybody help me for the below? 1. Will they delivery the resident certificate to my current address or I need to go to Alicante Police office again to do the finger print( Some Chinese mentioned this, But I cannot find this about family member of European citizens.) ?? 2. We have another property which will be our main home from July this year. If the address is changed, do we need to get updated resident certificates with the new address? Or just to register with the new town hall? |
Re: Change an address when resident in Spain??
I have never heard of a certificate being delivered - I strongly suggest you go in person with the appropriate papers and collect it. Typically business is done in Spain on a more face-to-face way than by using mail.
I do not think many people bother changing the address on their residence certificate but other documents DLs, padron, health card etc need to be updated. |
