Champagne in Spain

We are over soon, for a short break, during which is my wife's birthday...a milestone one. Am I better off buying champagne at duty free or is it decently priced in Spain. Thanks for any help.

Duty free in UK? Better value & choice, with less risk of breaking bottle if you buy in Spain.

Thank you, any idea on prices? I guess Lidl would be good

Lidl do a champagne at about €13 which is less than half the price of a"good" brand. I haven't tasted it but I have heard good reports. Moet is nearly €30 and Verve Clicquot is about €33

Buy a good cava in Spain will be cheaper and is excellent. Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut or Juvé y Camps Brut , latter maybe a bit more expensive
