These include Vueling, Easyjet and of course our friends at Ryanair. This is over extra charges not included in online price as I read it. It also states that these charges are being returned to the complainants. Also that they must not charge excessive charges for using a credit card. Now my question is does this actually affect all of Spain and the UK or just Catalan. Confused.com

Ryanair has repeatedly been in hot water for quite a number of years with the advertising standards authority for misleading ads.
There was mention of another case in the UK only this last week.
However the warnings or deterents have made virtually no difference and been like water on a ducks back up to the present time.
In addition they were in trouble not long ago, over an ad which was both offensive and inaccurate concerning Easyjet and Stelios, for which they made an out of court settlement.
Ryanair is obviously the biggest offender by far with regard to misleading ads, so hopefully they will get hit with a fine heavy enough to make them clean up their act, and be more honest and straight forward with the public in future.

Must admit, I have few complaints with Ryanair. No nonsense airline. I really dislike the condescending staff at BA.

But this isn´t just about Ryanair. My point is that they have had to return monies to people for charging excess charges. Is this just the Catalan Government or can we all claim?
