Cash Buyer
silly question but why is it good to be a cash buyer in Spain and what are the benefits of being a cash buyer.

Well apart from the obvious (no mortgage) you will be in a much better position to buy at the price you want to pay.

Mortgages are now very difficult to get in Spain ( unless you are buying a bank repo) so clearly a cash buyer will have an advantage.
That said, for any individual property, there is hardly likely to be a queue of potential buyers.
