Default Carlos Haya Hospital - anyone been?

Hi - I have an appt for a test tomorrow morning & wonder if anyone has been to this hospital in Málaga. Is it easy to find? Does it have parking? Someone suggested I should park in a shopping centre car park & then take a taxi, but that seems a bit drastic!

No parking in Hosp thus it get congested in the road around, but there are supermarkets not so far away (walking distance).

Location:- http://www.sol.com/malaga/map north east of city, just off the ring road (E 15 close to A/ junction).

Parking is a nightmare. There is a carpark but you need to be there very early. The second time we went we parked in el Corte Inglés and took a taxi. took around 25 mins wait at the taxi rank at 9am.

Thanks for the replies - it does sound a bit of a nightmare! My appointment's for 10am and I want to be there in plenty of time -(I live about an hour away). It looks like maybe the best bet will be to look for a supermarket and walk or taxi from there! (Thanks for the map John & Elaine).

If it's any help, the 8, 21 and 23 all stop at the entrance to the hospital, all starting from the Alameda principal in the town centre.

The hospital does have parking, I have been in it! 2 mins from entrance.

Thank you both! That gives me other options I'll probably get OH to drop me at the entrance early & then look for a parking place while I look for the clinic!

When I went we took the train then got a taxi.
It's by far the easier option as traffic and roadworks in Malaga can be a nightmare!

Well it all went smoothly, we set off at 8am and took the Carlos Haya exit off the motorway (we were coming from direction of Casabermeja) getting there for about 9am.

The hospital was not too far down Avenida Carlos Haya and following car park signs we came to the 'Santa Rosa de Lima' underground car park as mentioned by Jackytoo. There were plenty of parking spaces so I arrived for my 10am appt. feeling relatively stress free - just too bad about the two hour wait to be seen

When we picked our car up about 1pm, there were still plenty of spaces to be had. It cost about €7 so not too bad at all!
