No flame, so no danger, carbon monoxide is only produced by the burning of a carbon based fuel, such as coal, gas, wood, paper, petrol or diesel. So electricity can't produce it on it's own. Catalytic gas heaters are safer then the flame based ones as well as they use a catalyst that tends to remove the CO.

Think I would rather have a sore throat than snuff it!!!

Anyway I have a/c units with special anti-bacterial filters so hope I am safe as can be??

Make sure they are screwed to the wall well and dont sit under them :D :D
