Spanish insurance companies are not allowed to insure foreign registered vehicles. UK vehicles, if they are insured at all, are usually covered by dodgy Gibraltar based companies with agents in Spain.
All may seem OK for a while but just watch out if you get stopped by the police or have an accident.

jdr, (lol i knew you´d reply ), it is taxed and mot´d for the next 10 months, its my beetle that i bought...so i thought i´d insure it and drive it.. legally
beachcomber - i know that, i just figured, best to have SOME than NONE, right ? its a lhd eurospec anyways, the headlights/blindspot is right(changed after arrival to spain), so they cant argue that if they stop me
