Car Insurance

Thinking of buying a used small car 900/1000cc.
What's the average cost of insurance. I am 70 this year.

Who ever you get your insurance from just check it has recovery with it this is very important as it is illegal to tow a car in spain.we found car insurance reasonable too even though we did not get our no claims bonus transferred we forgot to do this

I got my no claims bonus accepted I had to show proof email from UK insurer was acceptable. I think max in Spain is 6 years . I paid 285 Euros fully comp including full breakdown Europe wide. Obviously everyone has different circumstances etc. I insured with Liberty Seguros

I have just checked different companies and have gone back to Liberty Seguros which is 289 euros fully comp for a 4 year old Nissan Juke. The other companies were much more expensive. They did make a small reduction due to the car not being used for three months too.

Re: Car Insurance

We insured our 2008 Renault Clio (1.5 D main driver 55yo) with Liberty Seguros in 2018. The price was reasonable and after one year I insured a 800cc motorcycle and a 300cc scooter and maximum discount applies to all vehicles despite not having a UK NCB to indicate our driving record. The 800cc motorcycle was a problem for a number of companies I tried but not to Liberty Seguros.
