Hello.
Can anyone recommend a car insurance company ? I recently brought my car over and my UK insurance has ended . I guess I am not an ex pat yet but working on it! |

I thought insurance was cheaper in Spain.Blimey 380e fully comp and breakdown cover .I will keep trying

Hello I use Mapfre insurance for my cars. You can have a good price contracting using their web page: www.mapfre.es If here you don’t find a good price, I recommend you a pair more: www.genesis.es www.verti.es all of them are good companies with good insurances. Remember contract the international car assistant ( imagine you need assistance in Portugal). Regards |

Hi, when we lived there we used Linea Direct for our car insurance & still use it for contents insurance for our apartment. Their prices are competitive & they speak English, regards Bryony. |

When I brought my car over from England for 11 months I used Andrew Copeland. They covered for up to 12 months out of the UK. [email protected] andrewcopeland.co.uk
If you are going to Matriculate onto Spanish Plates during the year I would use Abbeygate. This is because they will transfer the credit from UK insurance onto a new Spanish policy. |

For my car on UK plates, in Spain, I used Abbeygate. I was not very happy with them...

Hi lizzybuzzy, Try Jennifer Cunningham Insurance (Homepage - Jennifer Cunningham Insurances S.L.) Tel. 966 461 690, they are based in Javea, Spain, all the staff are English speakers, so you will have no communication problems. I insure two vehicles and also have a home insurance through them, all at very competitive prices IMO.
