Having sold our second car in the UK before arrival here in Spain and no one to pick us up in the UK need to rent.

Anyone please had experience? Suppose they need both paper and plastic copy of the driving licence?

I often hire from Bristol Airport and use Hertz but go via Saga site for best discounts plus free additional driver. I have a Spanish driving licence.

Do you need a hire car for the duration of your stay or do you just need a lift somewhere?

thanks and for your consideration. No sorry we need a car from Bristol over to Chepstow then some running about and going deeper into Wales.

Have an early flight back so will be staying near the airport as well.

I usually use the Travelodge near the airport for an early flight back. However they charge an extra five quid a night for car parking which is a bit rich. The food in the restaurant is good but a bit pricey.
