You can buy and drive the same day, he sounds nice and desperate, tell him you want a full tank of fuel in with the deal as well. Car should have a new ITV, Suma and service if it is a reputable garage. I got full tank of fuel and 500E knocked off the asking price of a car before the crisis. They're happy to make money out of you when everything's going well so use the crisis to turn the tables.

Also, most dealers don't prepare cars before sale. Be prepared to wait around for it to have a "service" (oil change!!!) and a vac out. |
