Cant believe it!!
 
My mum and her long lost daughter (and obviously my sis) have both decided to move to Spain next year! I honestly cant believe it, I have spent the last bloody 5 hours in the pub talking about and I still cant believe it!

I am happy for them but it will be a touch odd to see them both, and her kids, go off and live somewhere else.

Yeah its good, but it puts a bit of a new perspective on things, they are buying a house together, and mum called to ask if I minded if she spent my inheritance.

Anyway, hows you mate?

i'm good, you saw my news... well it's mixed blessings really
i hope i can still find a corner of green and pleasant land to enjoy with my little family

my folks started spending my inheritance when they retired to N Cyprus... best we can hope for is part share in a holiday house

I told her to go for it mate, not my money!

There is plenty here, as well you know, it is still one of the most beautiful places on earth and has one of the best governments, life is what you make it eh?

true, sure i'll settle in to what essentially feels like a foreign land to me

The West country is my second choice in life, I love it down there, cant keep away, we are off to Dartmoor again on the 5th of May.

Mitzy mate, we have a wonderful system, and while I cant stand New Conservative, sorry Labour, the good they did in the early years cant be overlooked, and since London is now the financial capital of the world it is hard to deny them a pat on the back for what they have encouraged.

I am not one of those people mate who thinks that Britain is scum, I am proud to be here, and justifiably proud of the good we have done around the world.

I grew up in the Middle East, try having your say there, try even worshiping another god there!

I will do, we go to Widecombe, If I could afford to live there I would, but prices are unbelievably high there, and just like here, all weekender's!

No no no, don't misunderstand me .... I love the UK and also think its one of the most beautiful countries in Europe. I voted Labour last time around. I just think they are conning the people now with all this low tax crap. They say one thing and do another. But is London the financial capital of the world now at the expense of those who live there?

I think you are right regarding London, its the same as round here, the money may be good for work, but ultimately it has changed the look and feel of the place beyond belief.

I know of working class guys being barred from pubs just because they don't fit the bill! and around here we have a Pub Watch scheme, so if they are banned from one, they are banned from all!
