They look especially good in May. I have replaced about 15 over the last few years, some are now 15 years old and still thriving. It's much easier to buy decent roses now in Spain. I bought another 8 today - €4.85 each. It's more like 3 times that in the UK.

Hi Fred and Everyone that has responded to my question about my plants thanks for the information - feeling much betternow I know I can take my plants over, they really do mean alot to me as most of them were given to me as presents etc.

Did you get bombarded with cries of "are we nearly there yet"?
. Last year we had a few small chilli plants in the back seats, by the time we came home we had enormous plants which looked uncannily like hemp plants. No one batted an eye.
