Moi? - Nube grande preferably with an agua con gas because even wimps- ´ coffee often gives me a headache (but I can´t cope with Spanish tea!). Soft - agua con gas or fanta limon. Alcofrolic - mmm. Tinto de verano or cerveza with or before lunch, which I can´t do these days without falling asleep or early evening. Love it but rarely V & T, only if out for a special treat! Vino ? Usually tinto - a ribera del duero or Protos if it´s a good € day!...unless OH fancies a fresh white, in which case Marques de Caceres or Vina Sol. After a meal - varies. Spanish brandy, or gloopy but lovely Licor Cuarenta y Tres, or Licor Hierbas!!!
Used that as a mixer with brandy as we couldn't find any loveage. What do you drink it with? Or do you drink it on it's own?

Can't imagine it with brandy was it ok?
The best way we've had it is ice cold (as in kept in the freezer) & in tiny shot glasses (also kept in the freezer) as an after-dinner drink. It's a brilliant palate cleanser, if you like it - which I do!

Not really we also added lemonade. Nice to be able to get loveage again now.

I've never tried lovage, but I remember it on the bar when I used to barmaid donkeys years ago, when some of the old boys would drink Gold Label & a few people still drank babycham! ... although I understand there's a bit of a revival in the offing........... I guess it's slightly herby? Wasn't there another one that was a bit like cloves?
