DVLA say the only legal way if the vehicle is not taxed is on a low loader.

Not when you have an MOT appointment and you are driving directly there ,you cant tax without an MOT if the vehicle is over 3 years old, this is one of the few times you can drive without tax ,another time is if you are going for an SVA test , you dont even need a numberplate then!! I had a special plate that read SVA TEST , got stopped once,no problems, you just need insurance in this case.

How can it be right that just for not paying a tax that you may not feel is just, that has been implemented by a government you didn't vote for, but you can have your property taken away and destroyed without compensation.

Who still thinks UK is a free country?

Its the same everywhere I`m afraid Same with TV licenses in the UK ,you can even go to jail for it!! Sell drugs and you are unlikley to go to jail for small ammounts

If anyone knows where I can live with real freedom let me know
