Default Buying property for rent in Spain - trusted agent

First of all nice to meet you guys, been reading your forum for a while and it helped me with many questions which I had without even creating a new thread - for all of that, thank you.

Now let's cut to the chase...

Next month I am visiting Torrevieja region second time this year to find a right property to buy and rent it out during summer. I have contacted few estate agencies and will have some viewings booked. Let's say that I will find right property and reserve it... what then? I know the basics in theory (what are the costs etc), but I am willing to pay adviser who will take me step by step through the process of buying a property from the moment I reserve it, through getting a mortgage, lawyers up until I will get the keys to it.

And basically that's it. My question is how I can find that kind of an adviser in there who is trusted? I would like to get in touch before I get there so he/she can help me in case I find the right property next month. Any recommendations or advices?

Thank you.
Martin.

Have you looked into what will be required to get your tourist licence in order to be allowed to rent it out?

You need an independent (ie not connected to seller or agent) professionally qualified solicitor, they can do everything you need. I would recommend Pellicer and Heredia see their website.

Be careful in Torrevieja a lot of people claim to be what they are not! I know from old experiences.

.....strict rules and regulations to rent out, I think they want tourists to use the hotels so keeping people in jobs and collect taxes, not to rent out private property to benefit foreign owners.

I did my research regarding renting it out it kinda looked straightforward - just applying for a licence and pay for it.

I will check above solicitors. Thank you
