Default Buying our Spanish Home

After much travel and searching we are very near to the point where we will be buying a Spanish property. I understand whichever agent we buy it through will no doubt offer us advice and contacts etc., but I have also read a lot of advice to secure the services of an independent solicitor ( or equivalent ) to use for the purchase to ensure everything is checked out accordingly. We will be buying in the Alicante area and wondered if anybody on here would have any experience or recommendation for a suitable contact ?

It is essential to use an independent solicitor who has no interest in the seller and only looks after your interests. I would recommend Pellicer and Heredia (they have an office in central Alicante and others in Costa Blanca area) see their web site

PELLICER & HEREDIA: Lawyers Alicante

they act for me.
