Having bought a motor-home (RV) in the States, and used it for 5 months, 20,000 miles and then sold it, I would suggest you buy a small van, Ford Transit type, fit it with hanging shelves and drawers, maybe emergency sleeping facility, and rudimentary cooking facilities and then use hostals/hotels.

there was an old hymer for sale about benidorm with spanish plates on ebay a couple of months ago. quite often see tham on ebay. don't know if the're kosher or not. but they do come up from time to time.
