Definitely sell in the UK rather than bring them out.

Long term rental is expensive. PCP deals are offered by almost all the manufacturers, but will be more expensive than the equivalent UK PCP price, but it's still a worthwhile way of financing a new car.

If buying outright, the prices quoted almost always assume that you will finance a part of the purchase.

You'll probably pay MORE by paying cash!

IME, they weren't interested in a cash deal as they make more money on finance.

A Spanish mate of mine found to his displeasure that he'd have to pay the full price when paying with cash.
Weird really and I've no idea if this is the norm.

If you have the cash always worthwhile trawling the sites with KM - Zero offers. Obviously not brand new but bargains can be found, very low Kms , often 10 kms or less.
Dealers off-loading excess stock.

https://www.cochesyconcesionarios.com/km0/coches.html

Some good savings

More often than not as has been said for a new car if cash there will be no discount. With the minimum finance deal they often offer a substantial discount on cash price a years free insurance extended warranty up to 5 years and even free servicing for a couple of years.

I have bought 2 new cars in the last few years, both with the minimum finance deal. On the last one I had a discount of about €4000 and 4 years warranty, breakdown cover and servicing. The benefits outweigh the finance costs by a very large amount.

The situation in Spain is very different to the UK. Almost all the available discounts and special offers are determined and funded by the manufacturer, not the dealer. The margins are much lower than in the UK so the dealer has very little money to play with, if any.
