Buying apartment for family use.

Hi everyone,
Buying a holiday apartment in Estapona and intend that family can use it from time to time. Anyone know if there are rules I could fall foul of? Thanks in advance.

I assume you mean on a golf complex? I'm sure there will be various regulations for certain things and better check with your lawyer if unsure. I suppose the usual downsides are that you might be faced with higher community fees to keep standards high, then again what happens if the complex is no longer maintained etc.. There is a golf resort 15 mins drive from where we bought and land plots are probably 10 x more expensive. Looks nice and great for those who love golf/can afford it.

Thanks for your response, we actually briefly considered buying an apartment on a golf course. However, we ended up buying not too far away from a couple of courses.
