Turkey is just as safe as any other country in Europe, you may be interested to know Bin Laden makes references to Gaining back Spain into the Muslim empire it once was for 800 years.

As for history Muslim culture is as intersting as any other culture in this world.
800 years? You have left too far. Spain never were conquered completely (of being this way, the spaniards would not exist for to make the reconquest, obviously). At the beginning of the XIII century (1212) was the battle of " Las Navas de Tolosa "(maybe the most decisive battle in the reconquest), where the Muslims lost all their military hegemony, then of 1214 at 1246 they would be reduced to Andalusia, and of 1246 to 1492 they would be reduced to Granada, until their expulsion in 1492. But not all Spain during 800 years, my friend

If you want countries that were occupied by the muslims and they maintain the muslim essence, you go to Turkey, Kosovo or Albania. Spain is not muslim. Nor before, nor during, and nor later. That people didn't make us to stop to be christian

By the way, Turkey has of European what I have of Polish miner

All very true but you missed out the fact that Spain learn`t many things from the Muslims that occupied your country for a very long time.

You`ll might want to thank them.

Many spanish words originate from Arabic eg. ójala, Azucar, even Benalmadina. You could probably get a large list if you google.

They also owe there Agricultural abilities thanks to Muslims developing Irrigation systems.

Many of Spain`s fruit were brought over from the Arab world.

Most of Spain`s current cultural tourism is thanks to Muslim architecture.

Yes, but it doesn't mean that we are arab, muslims. In english, there are many words that are pure Latin (London for example was Londonium, of roman origin)... for this reason the british are roman? Non...it is truth? This it is the question

Forgiveme me, but the spanish agriculture was already famous in Rome, centuries and centuries before it arrived the muslim. And not only the agriculture, also the horses, as the Spanish horse (a prehistoric jewel of the Neolithic) or the Gladius Hispaniense, the spanish sword that the Romans adopted for their legions after the wars punicas

You forget roman constructions as the amphitheater of Merida, the Aqueduct of Segovia, etc etc etc, or of christian constructions as the Fortress of Segovia, of the Monastery of The Escorial, of the Walls of Avila, the city of Toledo, of the Papa Luna's castle...do you forget many things, I believe

Good, the spaniards also brought to Europe the chocolate, the corn, the tobacco, the potato, etc, and this didn't prevent us to be in war with some countries. You didn't thank us. Ingrate!

The Spanish Horse would be nothing without Arab blood.

accept it, the Moors made Spain the country it is now, without them the reconquest or age of discovery would never have happened.

The Muslims had their paper, in the sense of leaving some architecture, gastronomy, but to say that what today is Spain is thanks to them, I believe that you are wrong

The Spanish horse were famous and well-known in the old world, especially for the old Roman, for not speaking of the Greeks. You don't mix to the Spanish horse, the Andalusian (A horse that was in all the peninsula but that at the end it was solely reduced to the area of Andalusia, of here their name), with the Arab horse. They don't have any relation (This is what in a principle the experts speculated). The modern spanish horse is thanks to the selection program that made the King Felipe II, for to look the perfect horse

Babieca, the horse of the Cid, was a Spanish horse (an Andalusian) and he didn't have Muslim blood in their veins. There are Spanish horses in movies as " Sleepy Hollow ", " King Arthur ", " Gladiator " or " Elizabeth: the golden age ", among others.

and you also know nothing of the lineage and history of horses, but why would you, you are only Spanish......

The Moors made Spain, just accept it, the sooner you do the sooner you can embrace all that is good with Iberia.

I admit what I have read in the history books and what have taught me in the school, nor more, nor less. What have taught to me is that Spain is Spain thanks to the Catholic Kings, Isabel and Fernando (And Spain is more than 2500 years of civilization, not everything is summarized to a Muslim period). But if to think that Spain is Spain thanks to the Muslims makes you happy, here we leave it

No problem
