I was under the impression that there is some sort of discount card for pensioners not only for bus's but other things as well. Don't know how you get them or where from but seem to remember a guy I know saying he had one.

There is a card that gives pensioners a discount not only on busses but on things like holidays and spectacles.
I can't remember what it's called but if I remember correctly you get it from the Social Security office.
The best thing to do is to look on your towns web page, usually all that kind of information will be listed there!

The card for over 65's is the 'Tarjeta Andalucía Junta sesentaycinco'. To be able to apply you must be both resident and enrolled on the empadromiento at the local town hall and of course be over 65. This gives discounts on all sorts of things. This is the link - but only in spanish. http://www.juntadeandalucia.es/funda...mitem_view_pub
Good Luck

Sorry - should it be empadronado or maybe padron? My spanish is not the best. Basically, the register (electoral roll) at the town hall.

sorry - I thought you would:o

it's used so often on here

it means what he says - being on the 'padrón' - the list of who lives in a town so that they get money from the govt

the word padrón literally translates as 'census'
