Budget of 250k, where to buy CDS?
Hi All,
A close friend of mine is wanting to buy a villa and is looking for advice on areas. He is early 40s and has 2 children aged 7 and 9 and is ideally looking for some where either on the coast or close by, say with 10-15 minute drive. (Coastal town preference)
Other Criteria.
within an hour of Malaga airport
3/4 Bedrooms
Pool
Safe neighbourhood
Close to amenities / shops / bars etc
His budget is around the £200-250k mark, but could flex a little for the right property. He is planning on using this as a holiday home for family and friends maybe 6 times a year.
He will consider an apartment, but a villa is his preference. As a point of reference he likes Peurto Banus.
Any advice on town / locations which you think would be suitable would be most welcome.
We are planning on visiting later this month to look at properties / areas
Many thanks

Try Alhaurin de la torre (Nice area but aircraft noise might be a problem) Torremolinos 10 mins from the airport but without the noise, lots of detached villas around the 250K mark.

Puerto Banus is expensive for obvious reasons, as is Marbella. Travel just a few km further away to San Pedro or even a little further to Estepona and you get a lot more for your money but still with lots going on.
On the other side of Malaga airport and cheaper still is Torrox, Nerja and Frigiliana (inland from Nerja), all lovely towns but ridiculously cheap.
Check out any of the sales websites and broaden your search area but put in your max budget and 3/4 bedrooms and continuously the latter 3 towns i mentioned will show up. You can easily get a detached 3/4 bed house within budget there.
As previously mentioned Alhaurin de la Torre and also Alhaurin el Grande are just inland from Malaga and because of this you can also get some very reasonably priced property.
