Was expected.
Unfortunately we have to tolerate him for 4 more months.
Obviously he'd been told to go by his own party.
Hope that snake Mandleson crawls back under his stone as well.

No trick.
A. Brown had become a liability for his own party
B. It's the only chance Labour have of trying to cling on to power.

Wouldn't it be fun if Mandy decides to step in "for the good of the country" as PM?

Yeah thats who the Lib Dems wanted all along.

Funny innit? The Lib Dems win just 57 seats and look at the power they control.

Stop it... we are talking about a Con/Lib coalition and as has already been said if we haven't even given the guy a chance how the hell can we judge him so harshly?

John Reid has now come out and said that a Lab Lib coalition with the Nationalists propping up the seats would be disastrous... he spoke of Labour forming a strong opposition party rather than trying to hold on to power at any cost.

If the Lib Dems do join Labour it will be the parties with much less than 57 seats who hold the balance of power.

Even the Greens with their one seat could be king makers.

A bad business,..the tail wagging the dog.
Simply won't work,..will come to a sad end...and hopefully the extremist Lib nutters will pay the biggest price at the end of the day.

Hi Jo,

Nothing to do with politics. Just thought I would mention that my mother and father live in Alhaurin el Grande. I drive through Alhaurin de la Torre all the time, it´s really pretty there. Just though I´d lighten up the thread a little. I love all the different things in the middle of the roundabouts, the coloured balls are the best.
