Fine if you are happy to live under a dictatorship and turn a blind eye to what the Turkish Army and National Intelligence Organization is doing to Kurds on the Syrian border , I`d imagine N Korea would welcome foreigners too .

Turkey, with the very "european-like west coast, welcomes people from Europe with open arms for decades.
Everybody can join the medical system for a very small price. We have a house in Spain and in Turkey and it is not excluded we want to live there on a more permanent basis. People are friendly and speak several languages.
And of course, prices for daily life are sooooooo cheap.
A detached villa with full seaview at walking distance to the beach cost 80,000 EUR .........

But initially you are allowed up to two years max, if you want a long term visa you must have had eight years of continuous short term visas + not left Turkey for more than 180 days + not used Turkey's public health service in the past three years.

I thought you were living in Portugal and France? Apart from all the other things with Turkey, the West part would be far too wet during winter for the common Brit. Add in the earthquake risk and the home insurance is not always cheap if you really need a payout . The cheap basic Dask doesn't seem good when you actually need it.
We have a finca rustica, registered with the Ministry of Agriculture. We need to travel to the Valencia region to prepare our olive finca.
We heard from our gestor who does our paper work for the DUN (yearly registration of agricultural land) that we can travel to Valencia, because it is for nessecary work as long as we take a copy of the DUN with us.
We will travel from Portugal (home country) to Valencia region. Too far to make a U-turn when a policeman would not agree!
Do you think we can do this without problems?
Many thanks!
