British care staff in Spain

Hi,
I’m looking to move in sync with sis and mum to Spain this year. They already own house near Malaga. What’s the best way to advertise for work as a carer within the expat community ? I have 25 years experience specialising in dementia and palliative and currently work as a senior with the NHS. Would like to offer services to elderly Brits so they don’t have to come home for healthcare support.

I would suggest an advertisement in the local free papers in English, local bars / shops and word of mouth.

You could try local care homes.

All depends I guess on whether you want to work legally (and pay autonomo and or taxes) or work for cash. But I would agree with missile's post.

Happy to pay tax etc. Prefer to be legal always! Thanks x

Yes we all do but unfortunately, Spain's self-employed system is not always that conducive with very high monthly contributions ie around 350€ per month. But that would give you health cover and pension contributions.
