It occurs to me that this deal takes us back to where we started in 1973 - an ongoing European customs union looks very like the "Common Market" which most voters agreed to join back then.

that’s clearly wrong as it misses the most important option as offered by Donald Tusk today bottom left should say:- Britainstays within the EU , A 'BREMAIN' road map (my word) would have the extra steps under the word 'referendum' leading to us not leaving the EU after all. But this would be an option that was killed if a previous condition to Brexit was met. In the event of a second referendum, the questions need to have been decided, that would be a tough one to get on the 'ballot paper' now. I posted this as I found it a useful and clear document and thought I'd share Jon |
