Still have hat on - INDOORS! - dont want to mention my other bits but visits to the loo are quick these days:rolleyes:

It seems a longer winter this time with all the rain we had before Xmas, I was hoping for an early spring (ever the optomist) - but then other countries are really suffering, so can't complain too much.

Last year lived near Baza/ Almeria border in the campo, and it snowed loads and we were trapped for days - our water pipes and gas bottle froze, and the generator broke down, so not even a cuppa tea one day - SO being near Granada, in a village, is like heaven:thumbup:

last week was lovely, the blossom was out and new shoots sprouting out of the trees. The sap was definitely rising - now its like Siberia, wtf happened!

Same here. Last week I put away the thermal vests and socks, switched off the central heating but still maintained a log fire for a little heat. Last three days has been heavy snow but only on the mountains to the south of me. The wind is bitingly cold and the thermals are back on. Two nights ago the wind was strong enough to break branches off the trees - which are still littering the streets.

Well, so far with one exception, the night time temps haven't dropped below 5.

It would be nice if that continued. Our first strawberries in the garden are starting to go red, and unless things go badly, they should be ready to eat soon.

Last night wasn't so cold, it had been raining instead. Which meant my chicken had unfrozen water today!
