It's probably old news to most readers here - but I saw this title in today's Spanish press: MUNDO 'BRITISH'
El adicto al sexo que quiere gobernar Gran Bretaña
El peculiar alcalde de Londres, Boris Johnson, que se presenta a la reelección en mayo, no oculta su ambición de llegar a convertirse en primer ministro.
The sex addict who wants to be prime minister. Well, better to be honest than furtive, hey?

Maybe they should check in their own backyard first.

Anyway if thats the only vice our Boris is guilty of, then I don't think there's too much to worry about.

Probably the same source, but I read it yesterday in ABC. I read more of what goes on in UK from the Spanish press, they seem obsessed with all sorts of UK trivia. Today, "Cheryl Cole prueba suerte en el mundo de la moda como diseñadora" I wouldn't have thought that many Brits would be interested in that, God knows why the Spanish might be.

I pick up more UK news from the Spanish channels than from the BBC or Sky with their very limited range of events covered.
Just been watching the boat race on Spanish news.
If I miss the UK footy results I can always rely on my Spanish pals to fill in the details.
As for the celeb garbage, unfortunately Spain has followed the UK down the plug hole.

Do you mean an English version of "El Mundo"??? I occasionally look at el Pais in English, but cannot find an equivalent in El Mundo.

Ideal - it's a Granada paper. Ah, see what you mean. No, that was just the 'ante-title'. El Mundo doesn't do 'English' unless it's having a go.
