Booster seat question
Seen conflicting advice on the subject, have an 8 year old boy over 135cm. Does he need a booster seat, most sites suggest if over 12 years or 135cm not needed. Some sites can read in more than one way I.e implies need to be over 12 years old.
Anyone confirm. Thanks |

Straight from the horse's mouth.
If you do not understand Spanish I will give a brief resume. Below are Modifications: DGT website. Children measuring 1.35M. or less must ride in the rear seat of the vehicle, using the appropriate CRS (child seat.) It is only recommended to use a CRS until the child between the heights of 1.35M &1.5M |

Re: Booster seat question
As MikeJ pointed out, it is well covered by the N332 site
Children in Cars | N332 - Driving In Spain |
Re: Booster seat question
That is a translation of what the DGT states.
Having looked around that website some information is out of date:by some years with no further updates. Noting that plus looking at all of those adverts I would also argue that the offical hoses mouth guide that some say it purports to be. |

Many thanks, will take a look, was aware about the rear seat so that's fine.
He is over 1.35 but well under 1.50. |

That sentence should read: Plus all of those adverts, I would also argue that website is far away from the offical hoses mouth guide, that some say it purports to be. |
Re: Booster seat question
So why exactly do you think it is far away from the official hoses (sic) mouth guide?
Why are you surprised that websites have adverts? |
