Book Swop CE
Does anyone know if this is on hold at the moment or has found a new home ?

Re: Book Swop CE
Martyn, an alternative, of sorts, is the second hand shop on the hill near the chapel (off Laguna square).
There's a reasonable selection in english text Regards Michel |

Only temporary stoppage but will recommence when either the club or “Jags” re-open later this year. The same for the mosaic club which is also on mark time but does meet in members houses. Jags could be a very interesting concept when it is up and running and is looking for community projects similar to those two. Thanks for the update re the course/club I think your timescale estimation seems logical What are the current rumours about 19H/Jags and the new Resto up the hill from the shop please? They have a tendancy to change ! :) Jon |

Hi John or others

They have a tendancy to change ! :) Jon Mr Kochmans new resto is on hold until change of use for the plot is approved by the Junta Analucia ( which is now PP Ayamonte is PSOE so could have slipped back to the starting gate when it was PSOE-PP). The new resto above the shop which was all geared up to go funded, permissions etc has gone down the tubes. Caxcia Bank the owners of the development on foreclosure needed to renew the lift mechanisms due to age and no use or servicing, set aside the funding but did NOT do anything and the permissions have expired. |

Looks like more of the 'same old same old'. At least things (not talk) are happening with the Golf club/course and we can look forward to that restarting in 2020... So getting back to where we were previously :fingerscrossed: Jon |

The transformation of the course in the last week has been nothing short of amazing! The regular watering of the greens and less so the fairways supplemented by the gentle rain on two or three nights/days together with the morning “dew” means from your west terrace you have a golf course panorama with fairly mature trees to boot! Maybe that's what will come out of the November meeting. Jon |

it’s looking good for a early/mid November start for the course but not seen the inside of the clubhouse yet. All is revealed in the meeting! Thanks Jon |
Re: Book Swop CE
I will close this thread as it has changed from a book thread to another golf course thread and it is better to keep that all in one rather than split into two or more.
