Re: Bloody fireworks
Seeing how it's Christmas you are excused.
Were you not aware that the term snack could also refer to a dog having a little bite out of your leg ?

Re: Bloody fireworks
Meanwhile BACK ON TOPICI just bought a single ignition firework for around €200 - it's called Monster Bangs and has a loudness rating of 10.I am planning to set it off at around 02:00 on NYD somewhere in Spain (or maybe in UK if I can't get it through customs) So you can't say you haven't been given fair warning. BTW it lasts for 3min 15secs

Spain is generally rated the firework capital of the world and Valencia prides itself on the claim of being the noisiest city in Europe.
Come along at Fallas time to see a Mascleta and you'll see/hear what I mean.
I don't know what a 10.1 loudness rating is.
Do you have a figure in decibels ?

I found this...
NR - Noise Rating Curve
which includes European noise ratings, but maybe your ratings are something else.

Go back to defecating in the street ? lordy you don't know much about it then as they never stopped, there is no rule about it either. Frequently adults, especially men and children of all ages can be seen relieving themselves on the street most don't even bother going out of sight.

I've worked in India. "Squatters" are a common sight. They tend to use side streets but when it rains it gets flushed into the main roads, and from there into rivers where clothes are washed. It doesn't make me any more tolerant of dog owners not cleaning up.
