No problem, maybe not quite at your best tonight.
Seeing how it's Christmas you are excused.

Were you not aware that the term snack could also refer to a dog having a little bite out of your leg ?

Meanwhile BACK ON TOPICI just bought a single ignition firework for around €200 - it's called Monster Bangs and has a loudness rating of 10.I am planning to set it off at around 02:00 on NYD somewhere in Spain (or maybe in UK if I can't get it through customs) So you can't say you haven't been given fair warning. BTW it lasts for 3min 15secs

In support of Tadd many dog owners allow their dogs to defecate in the street but never in their street.

Carrying coals to Newcastle surely ?

Spain is generally rated the firework capital of the world and Valencia prides itself on the claim of being the noisiest city in Europe.
Come along at Fallas time to see a Mascleta and you'll see/hear what I mean.
I don't know what a 10.1 loudness rating is.
Do you have a figure in decibels ?

10 is the top of a decimal scale (I is next sentence ) where 1 is sparkler and 10 is thunderflash. So think of 3+ minutes of pure noise!
BTW I'm not from Newcastle (not even Stoke)

I found this...

NR - Noise Rating Curve

which includes European noise ratings, but maybe your ratings are something else.

No pooing in our village please.

She wasn't joking, she was trolling - there's a difference. Joking involves humour, trolling snide sarcasm.

Good one ! I remember when I saw the 'no squatting' signs on Tobago, could not believe folks did that on the streets.

I've worked in India. "Squatters" are a common sight. They tend to use side streets but when it rains it gets flushed into the main roads, and from there into rivers where clothes are washed. It doesn't make me any more tolerant of dog owners not cleaning up.
