More critical issue is that UK qualifications are no longer recognised in the EU!

https://www.dezeen.com/2021/01/05/ri...ognised-in-eu/

This means in many regulated areas professionals will or have had to stop working in the EU unless their qualifications have been formally evaluated and recognised by a particular country.

Going thru this process could require additional studies in the host country. By the way the deadline to do this is 31 of October 2021.

On balance of probabilities yes, if the complainants are those who chose to wilfully ignore the registration requirements ... or if they only read certain "newspapers" that promote lowest common denominators and no actual facts .. and the blindingly obvious .. if they voted for brexit. I rest my case.

Ah wel then if we are speking about Brexiteers, then we are singing from the same hymn sheet!

Didn't know how well off they were and then they had to go and chuck all their toys out of their pram and now look at the fine mess they have landed themselves in!

Does it mean that UK to Spanish driving license exchange can still be made?

No, it means the residents who haven't yet changed their licenses have been given until 30 October to get a Spanish license by means of sitting the test.

If I'll get my TIE before the 30th of October would I'll be able to exchange my UK driving license or is it only for residents that lived in Spain before the brexit?

Thanks

During last week’s Facebook Live Q&A, many of you asked for an update on the long-term arrangements for the exchange of UK driving licences for Spanish ones if you are living in Spain. As the representative of the Ministry of Interior confirmed, at the current time, UK licences will continue to be recognised until 31 October 2021. This applies both to those of you who were living in Spain before 30 December 2020 and those who have arrived since. It also applies whether you registered your intention to exchange your licence with the DGT before 30 December 2020 or not. You can see the Spanish Government’s announcement here: http://www.exteriores.gob.es/.../20210622_NOTA140.aspx...
and information from the Spanish Traffic Authority here: https://sede.dgt.gob.es/es/permisos-...?Reino%20Unido.

This does not affect the current arrangements for driving licence exchange. If you did not register to exchange your licence with the DGT before 30 December 2020 and wish to exchange your UK driving licence now, you would need to follow the DGT process for non-EU nationals, which includes taking a driving test. However, negotiations are continuing between the UK and Spanish Governments on mutual recognition of driving licences and processes for future exchange, without the need for a practical test. We recognise that this is causing some concern, but want to assure you that both parties are committed to making this happen. As soon as we have further information on this we will share it here. No chance, not unless you applied last year. If your gestor is telling you otherwise, sack them. If you're not using a gestor, especially for your TIE, I suggest you get one asap.
