Big Pete... this is for you
I read about this in the paper yesterday.... I am sure it will get Pete going onto one of those angry debates ;):
Apparently, druggies in recovery are being given vouchers to go shopping as a treat for not injecting themsleves with heroin, of course at the tax payers expense. BUT! people with alzheimers who need medication are on a 'postcode lottery' basis to get their much needed medicines.... So you may get it... or you may not, depending if you live in the right place!! And dont even get me started on cancer treatments etc, that are not being given to some women as they are very expensive. I think we need to put priorities straight!!!!!!! Oh and also alcoholics in recovery programs are being given supermarket vouchers, which they are spending on... yeah you guessed right: booze!!!! Thought i'd share it with you as i was livid when i read it :curse: |
Re: Big Pete... this is for you
