Bicycle mot :-)

I spotted a bike repair shop on the road out of Ayamonte towards the bus station. Does anyone know if it is any good ? I need my push bike given the once over tyres/brakes etc before I take to the road now all visitors have gone.

Thanks :)

The one we use is a small garage and bike shop just by the GC barracks as you come into town towards the bus station. Excellent!

Yes he is a former competitive road cyclist so knows a lot. We first used him to fix the exhaust on a Sharan which he did well with good quality parts. He is an all round good bloke.

I dropped my bike off this morning at VH Motos for a check on tyres brakes etc. Got it back at 1.45 new tubes, ( will need new tyres soonish) new brake cables, gears oiled and stand fitted all hunky dory

It was not the one at a small garage, I think it must be further along. Friendly, helpful spanish man in VH motos.

Well ! I try to have but when half the car drivers I encounter don't give a shite about my right to be the road then I can understand why some don't !

My worst to date encounter with a car driver was when he was nicked for coming in a no entry nearly knocking me off my bike scattered shopping all over road but he had missed the policeman behind me

Until the law changes cyclist DO have a right to be on the road and many car drivers have just as little regard for the law as some cyclists.

Not in the UK.

If you are told by a policeman that you should be on the pavement and you reply that he is a f^%k*&g pleb then all hell breaks loose

as a former long distance cyclist (in the UK) may I suggest false economy.
the tyres should be changed now if needed "soonish". I am sure that even at your tender age you don't need an oldy like me to tell you about the thickness of the tyre protecting the tube.

otherwise glad to hear you have got things sorted.
