I think the obvious answer is never under any circumstances, buy products or services from cold calls - whether it be computer fixes, company shares or cheap utility deals.

Some people are very gullible aren't they. A lot of those boiler rooms operated out of Elviria, Marbella. They take advantage of the laxer regulations in Spain. Most working for them were middle aged Brits who were willing to throw away their principles for a life in the sun:thumbdown:

You have to ask yourself if the opportunity is sooo good why are they employing people to sell it.
