Hi everyone, we are new to the forum, so will update profile over the next day or so.
We know the area fairly well, but in the past have always hired a car. We are staying in Benalmadena by the beach (windmill area) and want to get up to the Artola Hotel, Las Chapas to visit friends for a drink.
We arent hiring a car as we are only there for a long weekend, and apart from this one trip, just staying local.
I remember last time the taxi to this area and back was quite steep. Is there a bus direct (I remember there being a busstop outside the Artola)
Any advice welcome. x

Would hiring a care for a day be a cheaper/more convenient option?? I dont know about buses, I do know that they're clean, efficient and good value for money and I suspect that they will go down that way towards Marbella, but its not something I've done. There must be a tourist information office in Arroyo de la Mielle - I havent lived in Benalmadena long so I cant help I'm afraid

Hi, thank you for the reply x
Hiring a car would prob be easier, but we are planning on having a meal and a few drinks, so wouldnt be able to drive back.
Ideally wanting to get a bus/other there and back. Any further help welcome xxx

There are buses along the coast to Marbella provided by - http://www.ctsa-portillo.es/index.html
Sorry, I cannot help with where the stops are either start or finish, years since I was in the vicinity.
