WE will be moving into our new home in Ontinyent very soon. anybody got any advise for the best internet connection to choose. told to expect poor connection because we are inland a bit.

All depends where you will be .

If you are in town then ONO do fibre optica at up to 100Mbps. If you are out of town then most places can be reached by WiMax through Ontitel - up to 20Mbps.

However, some places can't get internet at all and there are ZERO satellite installers so even satellite internet (Tooway?) is not an option.

There is a company that does microwave internet from 15 euros per month,but you have to be in line of sight from their base in Canals,so it depends on where you are exactly.

Come on, there's a bl**dy great mountain between Canals and Ontinyent. There's no way that anyone in Ontinyent can see anything in Canals!

Microwave internet is WiMax and there are one or two companies offering this in Ontinyent as I mentioned earlier.

Some people say Ontinyent but they are way out in the sticks near .....Canals But seriously they have branched out as far as Gandia,so you will only know if you ask.
